A Purim message to supporters of Israel:

Israel is currently in the midst of a painful war! Our dedicated IDF soldiers and reserves are tirelessly fighting to safeguard Israel and sacred lives. Despite the multifaceted aspects of this war, fear, pain, and our brave soldiers and their family’s sacrifices – life must persist. As children continue to need nourishment, mothers are left managing households while anxiously awaiting the return of their soldiers.

Amidst the mourning and fear, our nation faces ongoing challenges. The October 7th massacre took place during a period of inflation, leaving thousands of Israeli children in poverty. But there's more: a recent news report in Israel explains that Israeli households have had to cut back on essential groceries and basic needs by 27 percent this year due to a lack of funds.

Leaving the poverty rate shockingly concerning as one in every three Israeli households is now under the poverty line.

Therefore, In these trying times, as our soldiers fight valiantly, our nation must provide support for our brave IDF soldiers and their families as they fight our fight for justice,

we should unite and ensure that their needs are met, and their families are cared for!

And yet, even during this difficult time holidays continue to arise and the celebration of Purim is upon us. JAR is determined to ensure that our IDF soldiers/ reserves and their families are cared for year-round and can take part in the Purim holiday.

We at JAR are aiming to send an additional 1,500 IDF Families "Food Cards" at 500 shekel =  $135 per family for Purim Day (Matanot L'Evyonim)!

Let us stand by our IDF soldiers, reserves, and their families throughout this challenging period. Your generous Matanos Le’ Evyonim donation on Purim day, can make a meaningful impact, fostering a sense of connection and support for our brave heroes and their families who are enduring the challenges, pain, and sacrifices of war.
